Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling

I've got two news for you guys today though: one bad news and one good news. Let's start with the bad news.
I haven't finished writing SPIKE yet.

1. my drawing hand been hurting so if your wondering why I haven't been drawing thats why + I have been making custom decoden boxes the past 3 weeks.

2. I have been so busy lately I have been working on lots of things and I also been sleep for 12-15 hrs every day and I don't know why I'm so tired all the time now.

8. My hair length is starting to get super long once again I cut my hair like 7 months ago like super short and now its long again.

11. I usually don't get sick but I got kinda sick the other day and I was in my room the whole day because I didn't want to get out of bed. My grandma made me medicine and I felt better that day but it was weird. My head and tummy was hurting and so were my legs and arms. Its like my whole body was hurting. I was kinda scard because I had no idea what sickness it was. But now I feel better thank GOD omg I hope nothing is wrong with me.

Sorry to hear you were sick. Sounds like you had a bit of a flu with the body aches and all. I just got over the stupid cold that is going around. It came just in time to wipe out all my weekend plans with friends. I was so bummed, but I did get some art done/almost done so I guess I got something out of it. That and a ton of sleep which I desperately needed since I've been focused on my business so much that I tended to forget about sleep.

Meh, no one really responds to my journals either. I have a very small handful of people who I know will respond and that's about it. I think people get too busy or lazy.

I know my family got sick around the same time XD so yeah I think its the weather change. Aww I hate when that happens when you get ready and you have to then cancel because of things happen and what not ; n ; and omg yeah I know I am the worst when it comes to going to bed. Sometimes I'll just stay up the whole time and got to sleep like at 8am and then wake up at 5pm XD

I know I still wonder of how active my watchers are but I still am happy if 1 person reads my journal or comments

I just kept thinking that at least I got it now as opposed to right near Christmas or New Years. I have more plans then and I would be super bummed if I missed them. This is the first new years where I won't be sitting on the couch by myself.

I wish I could stay up all night. I tend to be at my most creative at night. But since I have to work full time, that doesn't really work out for me.
